Stories of Marijana Janeković and Elena Rudolf

Today, we’re proud to share the stories of two remarkable women who have become an irreplaceable part of our mission — Marijana Janeković and Elena Rudolf. Their stories are not just about sewing — they’re about compassion, quiet strength, and the beauty of giving.

Marijana, known online as Mari Jane, is a woman with a golden heart and tireless hands. From the moment she reached out offering to help, she has been a steady force behind many of our initiatives. Through auctions of her handmade items, she raises funds to support our work, while her lovingly crafted dresses and trousers often become the first new clothes children receive — for Sunday Mass, First Communion, or special occasions. Every piece carries a small tag, a symbol of connection — a thread of hope that links each child to a wider circle of care.

Then there is Elena — humble, quiet, and always the first to step in. She sews endlessly, prays fervently, and supports others with unwavering kindness. Her presence is like a lighthouse: silent, but strong. In every stitch, she weaves warmth and dignity. Elena is not just a seamstress; she’s the heart of a community.

To Marijana and Elena — thank you. Your hands create more than clothing. You create joy, confidence, and moments of magic.
